Dont waste your money on those. It wont be a repair to BS as they r just plugs and no patch. Oh and really washing up liguid to help the plug in the hole? So hows the glue on the plugs gonna stick then?

A proper repair by us would set u back a tenner inc vat

Yes they are meant for a tempory get u home fix only for off road use.
You wanna get the road tyre you got one in sorted asap. If that wheel came in for a puncture even in another spot then we won't repair the tyre, unless you have the new puncture and your temp one done. There really isn't enough surface area contact in the hole "sides" to be a sound fix it needs a patch on the inside as well.
On a combination repair the patch inside (that you dont have) seals the leak and the plug just fills the injury to prevent water and salt etc corroding the steel wire in the tyre.

Kwak -Fut used to do free puncture repairs - but would then try to rip you off for an expensive balance and new valve...... and if you said you didn't want that - it's amazing how long it then took to get the puncture repaired....... The days of free repairs are gone, sadly - except for occasional special offers. If the tyre is more than half worn - better off just buying a new one......

Try your local, independent tyre-fitters; I think last time I had a puncture repaired it was about a tenner.

A great deal of modern cars don't even have a spare wheel, and if they do it's often the stupid 'space-saver'. So much for modern car design and automobile development.

Tbh when tyres are so damn fat these days there can't be much room for a spare.

In the future we may well see cars with 20 inch rims but only 2 wheels as they are so wide they go continuously under the car, like a road-roller.

Makes me chuckle every time I see a BMW X5 or Range Rover Evoque (how many of those go off-road??) zoom past wearing bling wheels..... then the snow comes.
