How to attach grill badge?

Hi guys,

Just wondering how to fit a grill badge to the grill?

To you put something inbetween the badge and grill to stop the badge scratching the grill or not?

How about a piece of old inner tube cut to the shape of the badge?

Good idea that, will have a go. If not, I'm sure it wont do grill any damage, I can always touch it up if it gets scratched!
