Re: cover
Mine was fine for 3 months summer use. The car was put away over winter and the dry cover folded up and put away with it. next summer - out came car and cover - within a few weeks the cover had gone brittle and cracks all over - no longer keeping water out and tore very easily. Seems I should not have had it out in strong sunshine...... In Scotland ?? It was a Stormforce cover, and cost just over £100..... There may be other makes that are fine...........

Re: cover
Halford's medium size outdoor car cover cost £50 and I've used it daily for the last 3 years in all weathers and it still keeps the rain out apart from when it's really heavy.

Re: cover
I have had the same experience as Roy with the same cover- fell apart over the course of one summer and what was worse was on a non-watertight project car. (Some glass had been removed). Luckily no permanent damage other than light surface rust but annoying nonetheless!
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

Re: cover
Ive been using covers from a company called B&R Components for my Reliant, Minis and Wolseley 1550 (a cover for an Austin Cambridge fitted the Wolseley nicely). They do a cover for the Minor for 44.99, these are Tybond covers and so far have been very good. I've had expensive covers in the past that have been nowhere near as good as these. Recommended.

Of course a the best cover of all is a garage or carport but not all of us have them.

Re: cover
My morris minor has been off of the road for 22 years but only has light surface rust, it has been covered by a huge piece of heavy duty tarpauling (sorry about my spelling). if it was not for this,I am pretty convinced that my car would have been way beyond repair without it.
But I also have the halfords medium cover for my porsche, but I have found it realy difficult to keep it tied down. How do you keep yours down?

Re: cover
not so generous with mine, just a sheet of plastic in a shape of a car and two little loops on the side for tying it down some how.

Re: cover
Just a follow up, I have ordered two of these covers and they do what they say on the package!!
A good fit, secure, options of locking it in place too.
Cant fault it apart from vague fitting instructions. Got a couple of plastic clips in a bag that i cant find a use for .....YET!!!!!!
Wait and see if fully waterproof and breathable.
Have put these on a wet and a dry car!!!
