morris 1000 bonnet badges on my series 2?

Hi guys,

just wondering could someone solve this little mystery for me? lol

I have a 1955 series 2 Morris minor, the one with the split screen, however, on the bonnet on either side it has MORRIS 1000?

Is this right, or were these added on a later date?

You should have MORRIS MINOR badges. The boot lid should have a badge with a reflector in the middle.

The 'Morris Minor' badges are quite difficult to get hold of which is probably why someone has fitted the later style ones. ESM have now got some in stock though: http://morrisminorspares.co.uk/shop/pro ... 3ec4ebab88

Duh, Sorry, but it does have the MORRIS MINOR badges, dont know why I thought it had Morris 1000, forget I asked the question!
