I agree, doors and front wings are the last panels to go on. Having the engine in makes it easier to fit the front suspension. Having the axle on and the handbrake fitted makes it safer to work on. Brake/fual pipes and wiring prior to engine and box, so that you can get your hands down the tunnel and reach the clips etc. Leave the fuel tank until last.
