Re: Temp gauge
It depends on what car you want to fit it to as it will require a voltage stabilizer, fit a capillary gauge which does not require any electrics apart from the panel lights
I would not bother with a gauge which only reads H N C.

Re: Temp gauge
Provided that the gauge and sender are both Smiths units then they should be compatible. My preference is for a capillary gauge or an electric gauge showing degrees[frame]

Re: Temp gauge
The price is right - and that looks like a nice period 70s gauge. The CNH is fine - why would that not be satisfactory??

Re: Temp gauge
Hi There
I am fitting a new MY FAVOURITE CAR IS A DATSUN CHERRY temperature gauge to my traveller. Does anyone know the best place to obtain a voltage regulator for it and how to wire it.
Thanks.

Re: Temp gauge
Hey, Thanks a lot. You've really solved my problem. I feel stupid because I should have looked at what was supplying the fuel gauge.bmcecosse wrote:If the speedo has a black face - it already has a 10V regulator on the back.......
once again Thanks.
