Gear Box ?

Very sorry, feel like a demanding child but have too many questions that I can't answer. I have the chance of buying a midget 1275 box, we know that there is one there but there are 3 ribbed boxes, 1 is the 1275 the other 2 are 1098's, is there anything that will let me know which one is the golden egg? Also is there any way of spotting the difference between a 1275/1098 flywheel?

Buy all 3. But if one has a reversing light switch fitted in the remote extension -that's the 1275 box.
