Hi Rob.your very welcome to bring the Morris into the grounds but if you want to bring a modern as well I could sujest that if you can't stay for the duration then leave your modern in the car park and you have a vehicle to get to if needs be. Your welcome to bring your own pick nic as we don't have food available on the rally field except some small cakes to go with a fresh cupper. The museum has a great cafe also an old fashioned bake house where you can buy fresh baked bread. Sweet shop and Ice cream are also available. We are restricted as to what is available for our entertainment on the field but there is plenty to do around the museum site both indoors and outdoors. Our numbers have now reached over 130 with over 80 being Morris Minor vehicles. Plenty of other marques to see and chat to owners about.Trophies will be awarded to winners of best vehicles judged by the owners themselves. these will be awarded by a special TV Guest. Although your kind offer of bringing along your wing making equiptment I would say as long as it's not dangerous to the public and not likely to cause harm then please bring it along and if the museum deem it dangerous then you will have to pack it away. I can make plans for a display area for you if you pm me details. Most members on here found that last years rally was a good event and found plenty to see and do.
As for bringing your plane then I am sure it will make a good talking point for everyone.... It sometimes pays to listen to our wifes
Raymond.
Another update......... I have now sent out over 140 entry numbers and we are advising everyone who still want to come and take part that they must be in St Fagans before 10am Our numbers have reached over 160 with an estimated 85 being Morris Minors. Although we ran out of printed rally numbers we have room for you. Lets hope that the weather will be good for us and that everyone taking part will have a safe and pleasent journey to Cardiff........I think we are on course for haveing the most morris minors gathered in one place in Wales
Raymond.
Sounds like its gonna be a good one Ray, Cardiff will be like a scene from the borrowers on Sunday morning and afternoon when people are arriving and leaving. I would encourage all of the people who have shown an interest to make the effort and be there before 10 am, great venue that I hope will grow and grow. Well done Ray, keep up the good work!
Looks like we'll be there and I'll be able to come for the whole day since the Boss will also bring the kids in the modern car. I'll not bring the wheeling stuff but might just as well bring some tools etc so we can maybe have a "Doctor in the House" session where we fix a few niggling faults? Lets face it, with 100+ old cars we are guaranteed to have a few problems on the day.
I live 10 miles away and drive a Sidevalve MM. What time should I set off on Saturday to get there for 10am Sunday?
PS If anyone breaks down en-route and needs any spares brought along to St Fagans, 01446 795489 will get me before 9am.

Can I bring my recently purchased engine, just needs a quick rebuild and fitting?
Unlike last year I will not be attending the Rally on the back of a tow truck because I forgot to renew my MOT.
Thanks Rob for the offer of help with parts too. Who knows someone might be in need of something enroute. I hope it won't be me
See you all there.
Raymond.
Thank You to all who came along to our branch rally today. We had a great day out at The National History Museum St Fagans. The Weather was really good to us and over 130 cars turned up including the Young Owners Register, Members from Wiltshire, Avon & Birmingham branches Pluss other reagons. I hope you all got home safely and without any misshapps. Now hopefull somebody might have taken some photo's and could share them on here.
Now with the rally behind us.... Bring on the Summer........
