Re: Indicators
Check the wires are connected correctly and if so then try another flasher unit, 42 + 5 W rating. Reliability seems to be a problem. I have the same problem with one of my flashers, a trip to the accessory shop I think.

Re: Indicators
Drove to my local Halfords to see if they stocked the correct flasher, just checked again and they were working perfectly!

Re: Indicators
Not an earth problem on mine, the indicators are separate from the other lights. The R H indicators worked perfectly and the L H indicators stayed on without flashing so it must have been the L H flasher unit.

Re: Indicators
Sometimes I get a similar problem on my minor, a 948. When I indicate right, it flashes fast as if a bulb is out, but if you adjust the position of the indicator switch slightly, it works perfectly. I guess because it is combined with the horn, it is allowed to move too much and affects the contact with the flasher? Have tried to take off the shroud(?) for the switch, but to no avail, it seems stuck.

Re: Indicators
Just fitted a new flasher unit , no change and I have just noticed that if the side lights are on they dim on and off when I indicate , sounds like a bad earth ???
