Haha I know a few girls who have those eyelashes on their cars... they don't last long.
My contender for worst accessory is really a garage tool, but nontheless is worthy of mention: those devices whereby you put a tube down the dipstick hole and operate a pump to suck the old oil out, instead of releasing the drain plug.
Vynil roofs?
Stick on flames on the wheel arches?(Ford Capris especially)
The recent penchant people have for hanging toy mice from the rear bumper?(usually small astras)
Wheel trims that spin even when the car comes to a halt? (compacts generally)
Car alarms that call out when you get close like the robot on Lost in space, you know..........."WARNING WARNING" !
Usually fitted to aged BMW'S with M stickers on.
The list gets longer as I get older.
Those oil-sucker devices do have some uses: removing excess oil from a sump that's over-full; and changing the oil on a Smart. I know you could always tip it up and shake it, but the suck-pump is easier. They don't have a sump drain plug.
Oil-sucker devices are very well though of in some circles, I can't see what's wrong with the idea.
For modern rubbish, what about the things that get stuck on aerials to create drag and get filthy?
Pound shop flags have to be in with a shout too!

I had one many moons ago - and soon discarded it as being dangerous because of the massive blind spot. Wing mirrors are great! Mine even feather automatically at speed!

Iv heard people say the Bonnet Pull handle is Dangerous too. Splitting Hairs i Think.

i had a nasty accident earlier this year in my moggie, and the peaks took out the rear light of the car i hit and took a fair bit to crumple. I hate to think what they'd do to a child who's head is at that height, after all :/ surfice it to say i'm not putting them back on the rebuilt car
How can the bonnet pull handle be dangerous? I assume you mean the bonnet release pull, which is well under the dash, oval shaped with rounded edges and in no way can cause an injury?
[quote="lambrettalad"]Are children classed as accessories, inside the car [/qu
Whats do you mean by that! .Of corse i don"nt think children are classed as accessries inside the car.
What very a stupid statement.I did not join this club to get slandered like that.
Not the point i was making.
