New engine squeal
Since I have repositioned my Dizzy from horizontal to vertical (discussed elsewhere) the car has developed an occasional but persistent high-pitched squeal - I don't think that it's coming from the dizzy but another gremlin sent to annoy. If anyone has experience of errant engine noise are there any specific areas that should be investigated? Many thanks in advance.

Check the fan belt isn't too loose, or too tight!
And that it isn't running in the bottom of the V pulleys.

Agree - belt is likely cause. Take it off - has the squeal gone ? Fit a NEW belt - belts that have been squealing usually break about a week after being tightened.......
