Does anyone know if the disc and hub assembly from a mg midget would go straight on a Morris ?

Disc and hub yes. Calliper mounting bracket, no. Have a search on here, there is a special J shape bracket for it.

Here is the 'J' bracket required to mount the Midget caliper - 2 required, same for LH and RH.[frame]Image[/frame]

Usual caveat - these brakes will be no better than 8" drums, and you will need to remove the 'top hat' seal from the master cylinder to use them , and maybe you will need a servo, and a remote reservoir for the master cylinder..... You can fit better calipers of course - but is it necessary/worth it?
