Yesterday I duly climbed in the car, removed the rear seat back and found 2 beautifully positioned spots for the belts.
Removal of the seat base and wielding the pre-requisite drill, I drilled 2 more in the wings and a further 2 in the prop shaft tunnel.
All this while doubled up like a well compressed harmonium.
Then stretching one arm outside under the wing with the other holding a bolt head inside the car like elastic man, I connected the wing mountings both sides.(socket and extension required)
Then I crawled underneath the car (suitably jacked and propped on axle stands), trying to run nuts on wobbly loose bolts in the prop shaft tunnel, so secured the spanner inside the cab with anything heavy enough to jam it, (in this case a large heavy paint tin)
Crawled back under the car again and hey presto.
Then crawl inside the boot and repeat.
Double up again to re-fit the seat back and base, sit and adjust said belts to fit.
But you didnt tell me about the seized joints.
I couldnt move a muscle this morning.
