Good Moggy mechanics in Bath?

Post by laneychief »

Hi guys,

I've just moved to Bath (Along with my trusty Morris) and I'm looking for a garage to carry out a bit of welding I need doing, and a check on the brakes, you know just a new local garage basically I can trust, someone who can carry out my MOT and such.

Thought I'd check here to see if anyone has any good recommendations or any people to avoid.

Cheers!!

Yes - RTG has a fantastic reputation for top work and great/caring service. http://rtgclassiccarrepairs.blogspot.co.uk/ There is one place I would avoid - like the plague. PM me if you don't already know.

I can recommend Melksham Car Care in Melksham (01225 703014) which is approx. 10 miles from Bath. It's the only place I trust to take my Moggies and my modern cars. Been going there years and have complete trust in them and the work they do.
I often take my own parts for them to fit.....there are not many garages who will let you do that these days! Hope this helps.

Ah melksham might be more use to me as I live in Atworth actually so that is closer to get to than the bristol one, I will give those boys a try.

Once again thanks ever so much for your useful help!!

Cheers!
