Lamp bucket fixing
I recently bought a 1960 4 door without wings (as you do!), I've now managed to pick up some fibreglass ones (I know, I know - but.......). Anyway, I notice that there is a metal ring that sits on the inside of the of the original wings, with captivated nuts. Is this really necessary - haven't been able to locate these from my usual suppliers. Could I just use washers and nuts to hold the lamp buckets in place?
That's strange R2, the damage doesn't look so bad from here!
