Good Polish?

Hi Folks,
With all the jobs on Jethro nearly completed can anyone recommend a no nonsense polish that won't leave a white residue on the paint and rubbers and is simply wipe on/polish off?
With so many on the market I would like to hear what other owners have chosen.

Polish or wax?

Polish will contain abrasives to clean the paint so if the car is freshly painted, you may be better off using a 'wax' instead.

The more 'carnuba' in the formula the better the wax and easier to use/deeper the shine.

I use 'Swissvax Onyx' http://www.swissvax.co.uk/ (other products are available) which is not cheap (some of the others are very expensive...... ), but goes on easily (you can even do it with the palms of your hands) hazes over and buffs off with no effort.

You were right about it not being cheap!
I may have to settle for Turtlewax ICE spray wax.

I use either autoglym super resin or meguiares, both easy to put on and easy to take get off! Autoglym also do a gold label one that you put on after you have polished and it keeps the shine for about 6 months.

I use Blitz wax available from Frost. It is a pure Carnauba wax and does not contain any abrasives like most polishes on the market. It is proper wax and not a polish. The shine lasts for months as well!

The question is about polishes, after a polish, then you want a wax, simples.
