Seats and seat covering

Hi folks,
I've got a Morris Minor II 2 door saloon. 1955 split screen. The seats (front and back) are a bit dingy and would be nice to recover them at some point. I've been looking on The Bull Motif website and all the covering kits they sell are either for 1956-59 model or 1960 onwards. Is it not possible to get cover kits for the model that I have?

I've looked at a few posts on here too and see some people have bought the vinyl from wholesalers and cut, sewn and fitted them themselves. Would love to do something like that too but haven't got the foggiest how to or where to start . Gawd. I want everything I see for my moggy lol. I want it to look amazing. I feel a new adiction beginnning.

Is it not possible to get cover kits for the model that I have?

A few on here have made their own covers, which will work out cheaper, so someone might be along soon to give you some advice if you want to give it a go
