Following on from the oil leak thread, i have found this online and was wondering if it would fit my 1098 block with spin on filter conversion.

This is a lot cheaper than the minispares one which i refuse to pay over £50 for (more than the engine cost me!). I have been informed by the ebay seller that the thread sizes are 5/8unf into block and 1/4bsp into filter housing.
Is this right for a Morris engine?

Re: Braided Oil Pipe?
100% that is the one i fitted to my engine last week. IT WILL FIT.
it's slightly longer than the rigid steel one, but once you've got the angle correct, it will go in good enough. just one warning..... use some PTFE tape at the filter housing end and DON'T OVERTIGHTEN or you will split the housing.

after fitting i removed the plugs and spun the starter until the oil light went out.
