Pick up leaf springs
Does anybody know if the pick up leaf springs and saloon springs are interchangable, I think my springs have sagged but dont use the pick up for carrying any load, If the springs are interchangable then saloon springs would be more suitable as I imagine the pick up springs with out load would be quite harsh. Any feedback would be great, Regards, Steve

Re: Pick up leaf springs
Hi,
I did the springs on my van last year and found that the mounting hole is bigger on the front where the spring fits to the chassis.
I also needed new u bolts over the axel as these had almost rotted through, on the plus side Ive seen van springs online at £38.00 per side, which doesnt seem bad, as my originals lasted nearly 50 years!
Cheers
