o2 / Tesco Mobile

Post by PSL184 »

Way OT but I appeal to the greater knowledge on this board of all things, not just Moggies
Does anyone know if an o2 SIM will work in a Tesco mobie (both PAYG), reason being my daughter is on o2 at the mo but has seen a Tesco phone she wants so I want to know if I can put her SIM in it or if whe will have to use the Tesco one.....?

Thanks as always

Should work.

The only ones that usually cause a problem are 3 sims as they are dedicated 3g which don't work in some basic phones like the Doro
Our other car is a 2009 Citroen C6 3.0 HDi a 'future classic' and far rarer than a Morris Minor!!

The 'moggie' has been replaced with another 'classic' a 1953 Citroen Traction Avant 11BL

I am not sure about this. So, for the solution you can contact with Tesco Mobile customer care center and o2 customer care center. You can get details information about your question there. I think it can help you.

I do know that Carphone Warehouse phones are all "unlocked",unless the phone itself is branded ( e.g Orange Rio is locked to Orange, Nokia 1800 is unlocked) but have you tried giffgaff SIM, it runs on the O2 network but a text is 6p and 10p minute to landlines and mobiles and FREE,yep FREE to other giffgaff users, google it and see,and if you get signed up by another user you get £15 credit the 1st time you top up by a tenner! Tesco used to run on O2 a couple of years ago,but google it and get an up to date answer

My wife has washed her work clothes along with her 3g phone from the 3 network. I have seen a nother 3g phone that is unblocked. would this phone also work for her sim?
