I'm new to all this so don't know if I'm posting to the wrong place but here goes....
How do I get to the back of the speedo to replace the bulbs? I'm down to the last one (the old manual that I've got suggests that there should be 2 or 3 from the wiring diagram) but doesn't tell me how to replace them.
Also whilst rooting around under the panel I came across a switch on the right hand side under the speedo. Is this the panel light switch mentioned elsewhere? It doesn't seem to do anything on mine.
Thanks in advance
Chris

Chris
you need to remove the speedo to gain access to the rear, look in the glove box and you should find a small hole in the liner( speedo side) this hole gives you access to a cross head screw, using a screewdriver undo the screew about 3 turns, repeat this process from the drivers side, then gently ease the complete speedo out from the dash, as it comes out you may have to disconnect the speedo cable, so as to get more accesss. there should be 2 illumination bulbs, + ignition, main beam, oil pressure, and one for the oil filter i think. the switch yuo mention sounds like the on / off for the illumination, this may have been by passed at some time, two red wires will go from this switch to the illum bulbs if it is still wired up.

Re: Replacing Bulbs in Speedo
The number and position of the bulbs depends on which speedo is fitted to your car, make sure that the correct bulb assembly goes in the right location

12V 2W screw fit torch bulbs. Any decent electrical shop should stock them.
