Aberfourth the series 2

Thought id start a thread on the ever going project that is the 1955 series 2 called Aberfourth.
It all started in January last year when another car was needed , after hours of searching through many websites Aberfourth was found . (WARNING CHEESY PICTURE )

The story continues...
Aberfourth is a 1955 series 2 two door saloon, originally fited with an 803 but now has a whopping 1098 van engine , the interior is slightly different, when we got it, it had 3 door panels all covered in a funky flower pantern, a carpet made out of house carpet (nice colour but didnt really fit) and to top it off it had a furry orange headlining , complete with dead spiders . But on the upside it did have very good original seats. The floor, albeit a little rusty, was solid and paintwork was shabby but all the mechanicals were good. But hey it was my first car so it's not allowed to be perfect right

Nice looking car, how did you come up with the name (or as they say around here where from is the name like) sounds a little welsh to me. Agree the photo is a little cheesy but we like that in Wales as well, Caerphilly for example!

Looks a nice car have you done the motorbike yet

the motorbike is work in progress but its coming along nicely and the name Aberfourth came about by one day my sister called him that and it stuck .
