Fitting traveller roof seal

I'm about to fit a new roof seal to my traveller.

Should I use some dum dum or other sealant under the new seal?

Are there any tips to fit it

Yes I used a very small bead of dum dum on each side to help stop any water getting through. Its a very fiddly job to get it to sit right, I expect there may be a few bad words used!! Don't tighten the bolts too much or it ends up pushing the rubber up out of the way, and finally just take your time at it
