Traveller waist rail capping

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how the metal waist rail capping should be finished?

Is it painted black or body colour or was it chromed?

Also are there any tips for fitting it?

If you mean the metal strip under the sliding side window on the inside, then it should be black not body colour. I sprayed in Hammerite smooth black.
