Anyone else having problems purchasing at all?

I've tried adding both the 6 month subscription and the single issue to my virtual cart, but when I go to check out, nothing is there! :(

I'll try again from my home PC tonight (I'm on the work laptop), but I don't think it's a problem here. Work systems are generally very good for letting my buy stuff!

Hugh I had the same problem with IE9, but it worked OK with Firefox.

What happened to my posting pointing out an error in the subcriptions?
According to the website 1 mag = £3.95 therefore 6 mags = £23.70 not £29.70.
Discount rate = £19 therefore saving = £4.70 not £10.70

You haven't included the £1 postage cost per magazine Mike

:-? Apologies if the above message has 'angered' you millerman but I thought it best to answer Mike's message and explain the reasons why the thread was deleted, and at the same time remind members of the process of reporting messages as not everyone seems to be aware of this (the message wasn't aimed at Mike but all members here). Doesn't seem unreasonable under the circumstances.

Something very odd is going on regarding messages - they seem to get posted out of order and deleting a duplicate message also deleted the original :o

So that millerman's message makes sense to everyone esle, this is the message he posted the 'angry' faces at:
Mike - there seems to have been a 'glitch' on the board this morning. Your last message was posted twice and when I deleted the duplicate post the original message went with it :o

To answer your question of whether people should be informed when their messages are deleted, yes that is standard practice in relation to individual postings but in this case an entire thread was removed which would have meant sending pm's to around 10 - 12 people. Easy to do when you have loads of free time on your hands but not very practical when you're just briefly popping onto the messageboard to read a pm at 8pm on a Friday night! The original poster was contacted by pm later in the weekend.

The reason the entire thread was deleted was due to two things. Firstly, the initial post was unsolicited trade advertising which is against the site T&C's. Secondly, by the time I had had a chance to view the thread a number of other messages had been posted which were also contrary to the T&C's. If I had deleted the original message, and the other messages that were contrary to the site T&C's, the rest of the thread would have made no sense and in view of the nature of some of the messages it would not have been appropriate to keep the thread on the messageboard. So hopefully you can appreciate the reasons why I did not contact you personally via pm Mike.

Just a reminder that there is a system for reporting messages to mods - click on the 'exclamation mark' icon at the top right of a message box. This means that it is highlighted when we log on so can be identified, and dealt with, easily. Posting messages within a thread highlighting a breach of the T&Cs and criticising the mods for ignoring the matter, when you haven't actually made any attempt to bring it to their attention, is not very helpful (this happened in another thread recently too). This is an extremely busy site, the mods aren't on here 24/7, and it is not possible to read every single message within a short time of it being posted. That's why the 'report this post' function is there so please use this method if you wish to bring a post to our attention.

Thank you

I thought that there was something strange going on because my posting asking Russ if he would be publicising the mag at Brooklands, together with his reply and a couple of other postings all disappeared

I renewed today in the old fashioned way by ringing Blaze publishing on 01926 339808 and keying extn 3 for subscriptions.(credit or debit card required)
They reckon the first copy should be out in mid March.
