Can't think without trawling, but there must be forum sites out there for James/FB/Panther and all the myriads that used the Villiers lump. Think that one was fitted to the earliest Bonds as well. Sites like this but for old post WW2 "utility" motorcycles would be more likely to yield something at a sensible price than selling sites. Afraid mine are all variously worn out Bantam or 9E's (butchered as a result of use in my P65 trials bikes )

A Panther? My father had a Panther 600 (single) back in the '50s and he reckoned in first gear it would climb a wall. Great to see these lesser known British bikes being saved.
I have posted on a few other forums but thought that i might post it on here to try and up my chances of getting an engine.

I love my Panther, got it when i was thirteen and doubt ill ever get rid of it.
