I am installing a rear finishing cover to the wooden rail that acts as a base for the hood, see item below. Does anyone have any pics of this installed? There is quite a lot of excess material and can't quite see what it should look like when complete. Thanks, John

Re: 65 convertible resto - rear parcel shelf
When I changed my hood, the wooden rail was simply 'wrapped' with the finisher and stapled on the under side. The cabin facing side and top need to be 'clean' as they can be seen with the hood on. The hood fastens on at the rear so it needs to be clear as well so that only leaves the underside as the place to have the join/fastening.

Well I haven't been able to locate any close up pics as to how the hoodrail and rear parcel shelf should be finished but I attach before and after pics up to where I've got. Whilst the fabic looks rucked it isn't, I've just got to turn over the vinyl fabric and finally fix to the back of the rail, regards, John
