I'm on the lookout for photos once again to compare with my own car which has been going through a lot of surgery. Sadly I have only limited time to work on it at the moment though.
What I am after is a picture underneath the car where the front floor meets toe board and front wheel arch - and also confirmation of whether and where the rear inner wing edge has been folded over. I hope that makes sense!
Come to think of it maybe it would be useful (not sure if it's possible?) to have a single gallery section on the site, indexed by area of the car, that deals with common rot spot areas and their repair - a compilation of the best photos from all the wonderful restoration photos on here.
Thanks

Agreed, would be good to have some sort of 'reference library' of images of how things should look, for the benefit of people carrying out repairs.

My MM '51 is in an original state, and ready to make pictures from it.[frame]

On the left side he is in the best condition, and complete.
I can make more pictures from in and outside, if you need this.

Lowlight, but you can see the edge line.
I can get some more shots early next week if you need anything in particular. Too dark tonight to get in the garage.

Re: front wheel arch/floor photos
A small difference from mine:[frame]
[/frame]
the "ear" is folde, just as the other side:[frame]
[/frame]
A picture from the bottom, left, from my car:[frame]
[/frame]
And a picture from the inside back, right:[frame]
[/frame]
I don't know from which year the mog from Rob Thomas is, but his picture and mine, looks the same.
So from the rear side, it should be clear, I think.
Maybe some more pictures, but ask, and I take the camera.

Re: front wheel arch/floor photos
Superb guys, many thanks. Really helpful - looks like I just need to trim along bottom edge of my wheel arch repair section.
