Van Engine colour

My 1969 van engine is painted in a light green minty shade as opposed to the usual BMC darker green

Can any member advise as to correct colour?

Possibly should be black at that age. Paint it gold and add £500 to the value............ :roll:

LCV engines were mainly green - the exception was light blue used on some of the series 11 LCV's and the Austin's had black engines.
