Pirelli webbing length?

Post by gatsby989 »

Greetings all,

I'm in the process of redoing some seats for my saloon. Can anyone tell me how long the pirelli straps are, from clip to clip (where it folds over the clip) when not tensioned?

Thanks!

When I did the webbing on the seats in my pickup I measured the distance between the two metal clips when I dry assembled them onto the seat frame, (in inches). Add say 2 inch, (1 inch for both ends) for the hemms on the ends for the overlaps, and then multiply that length by 0.9 to get a nice amount of stretch and seat/webbing tension.

Worked for me and my seats are nice and firm.

Cheers

Steve

Just buy ready-made straps. Much simpler. They are very tight to install.
