Within the past few days I have seen a tv commercial depicting a white Minor convertable.Don't know what the product was so keep your eyes peeled! Bob Claydon

yeah the convertible is a muller advert.

if you look closely, the registration number is CW07 XXX (letter letter letter) like the modern UK style.

apparently the advert was filmed in NZ and to make it look like a typical english scene they changed the reg to a UK style one. nobody told them that an '07' reg was about 50 years too late for the vehicle!

Or perhaps what 'CW' could represent - or did they supply the car I wonder ?
