Welcome back Brian! Not sure how long you've been away but you'll see that the messageboard is as busy as ever (you're the 73rd new member this month) so the best way to get yourself 'up to speed' with what's been going on is probably to have a browse through some of the postings. General Minor related discussions will be in this forum so it's probably as good a place to start as any :D
