traveller rear window sealant

ok ive had a horrible day, after trying to fit my rear windows back in with some white evostik flexible frame sealant, i woke up with the stuff all over the place, ive had to rip them all out and wash it all off, the only thing it stuck to was my clothes ... urggh

i covered the car with a plastic sheet but it must have got damp in the cold night air, and it just doesnt set if its damp at all

whats the best idea for the window runners ? whats this 'dum dum' sealant esm do ? any ideas much appreciated

HELLO GRAINGER-Bill at this side, Dum -Dum, yes this is one of the old time best products still out there , All the panels on my traveller -thats all the rear ones and the sliding side ones are all bedded on Dum-Dum, It stays flexible is waterproof clean to work with and yes it does what it says on the tin-so you can buy with confidence, oh yes and you can bed the glass in the rear doors with it as well-it might cost a bob or two but once done you can forget it for years, Twinkle the Traveller and Bill.

yeah cheers bill, im going to get in touch with them tomorrow, its mainly for the side window runners and the inner cant rail to seal it all in. ive ended up with a rotten wheel arch thats gone from the inside, where the side windows have been leaking behind the cant rail for years by the look of it.

Bill is right Dum Dum is the only stuff to use and its 1st class it may not be sold in Halfrauds but any motor factor will have it and I dont think its that dear.
