Removing an ignition barrel from its housing...

So, having removed the ignition unit from my 71 saloon I am stuck... how does the barrel come out of the unit?? Thanks! :D

There should be a wee brass pin on the side you push in and the barrellshould then come out.

The key needs to be in for the barrel to come out. There should be a hole in the bottom of the switch where you can push in a rivet stem or something to depress the brass pin. You may have to turn the key to see the pin, then the barrel pulls out with the key.
