Mine dount sit flat am i doing it right.
I unbolted the back seat and push forward
Do you lift the bit were your arris sits then push the rest down

Yes!

The forward facing part of the top of your backrest will have two holes in it which locate on tow lugs which are exposed when you pull the seat base forward
