Right, I changed ALL the rubbers on my project... and they all leak! The worst are the two side rear windows - the rubbers are really poor quallty, loose on the glass - are they all like this now?
Can anybody syggest where I can get good quality rubbers from - especially side window rubbers. Thanks!

Try using fish tank sealant when you put them in it works

Yes, I think I'll need to get NEW new rubbers - I'm going to rub sealer all round 'em to get through the winter and then replace again with ARBOMAST or fish tank sealer stuff as soon as the weather picks up and I can do it in the actual warmth and dry!!
Re: New rubbers still leak...
I wouldn't have thought you needed any sealant although it does make sure of things, but the rubbers definately should be tight. You don't say where you bought the rubbers from, if it wasn't from esm, try buying from them. Don't know about this fish tank sealer, what's wrong with the proper windscreen stuff?

Yes, I used Arbomast windscreen sealant - but the side window rubbers - from g s jones - were loose as hell! Though I have read on other threads that esm rubbers are loose too, and there advice is sealer!

ESM rubbers for rear side windows were very slack - I used proper car window sealer on them, but it's a bit of a bodge really.
