On a 69 it should be stamped into the bulkhead below where the chassis plate is usually screwed on and around the point the accelerator cable comes through....

I've looked and looked on my 65 and can't find anything - should it be there on a 65 ? Or somewhere else ??

Mine is there on my '52 and '68 cars. Apparently it was not stamped on CKD cars

on later cars it was stamped to floor below the drivers seat, but most have had patching here so might not still be there.

Thanks for the info everyone.I have found the number on the bulkhead of my 1953 car but not on the later body which has had a new floor panel welded in so there is no number there either.Cheers Paul
