Compare the catch system to the good side - you may have to 'adjust' it slightly.

The bracket that fits to the side of the car comes apart. Grip the rounded end of the plunger and unscrew the nut. There is a spring inside. You can fit a stronger spring to increase the downward pressure. Another tick is a small wooden wedge (a bit of clothes peg works well) on a piece of string, just slide the edge in the top of the bracket when the door is open, remove it to close the door. You can also file a notch on the underside of the arm so that it drops into the bracket more securely, but I do not recommend this as, once it's done, there is no going back, and you usually have to lift the arm in order to close the door, which can be inconvenient.

Another solution is to fit telescopic door stays which keep the doors open in a wind or when parked facing downhill.
