Fuel tank questions...

Hi all

Well things are moving on with my Morris Minor restaration - pics to follow in the restoration section. need to order loads of stuff now - and have a couple of full tank questions:

1. What is the 'id' of the screws that hold the fuel tank in place? I don't know 'how' to measure them!

2. Can you still get the petrol tank seal - the one that sits between the tank and the car all the way round?

Not sure of the specific answers to your questions but the Moss Europe website shows both items. The seal appears to be no longer supplied and I think most of the cars I have owned have had the tank seal as a mastic rather than a definable seal. Of course it could have been the original seal that had gone past its sell by date. Others may know better.
