sports filter

Post by lambrettalad »

hi does anyone know where I can obtain the inner sponge or wire mesh and gasket for a 1 and a 1/4 SU chrome sport air filter? I've asked a few suppliers but they only sell the complete unit.
Cheers Alex

Just buy a new one on ebay - not expensive. But make sure it's not a 'pancake' filter - you need a good taper shaped filter with good depth.

Absolutely!

Ironic that those thin pancake filters are called "sports" filters when they actually reduce hp! The foam is usually a poor filter too.

if it's a K&N one they sell the filter seperate to the housings.

even if it's not a K&N one, you might be able to find a K&N that fits your houing!
