winter tyres

Hi all, as anyone used camac 145 sr 14 tyres on their mog in winter and what is/was the verdict, i will need two tyres shortly and currently running on bridge stones i just wondered if the camacs might be a better tyre for winter use,

The only winter tyre I found is the Bridgestone Blizzac LM-18 on MyTyres site. £50 each....

the camacs are a budget wheel- have one as a spare, but I seriously doubt if it is any better in winter.

If you read the reports about Camac tyres - they don't get very good Press........to say the least!

Thanks bmc and Chris for your input, so it looks like i will stick with bridgestones, they have been on the car for nearly two years and have not been any problem apart from being a bit skittish at the rear in the wet :o ,
