Notts Transport Heritage Centre at Ruddington are holding their end of season do on Sun 9 oct 2011 - free entry & free train rides for exhibitors no need to book - turn up on the day. EMids MMOC + friends park at the rear of the bus sheds near the old petrol pumps.
This is the Notts end of the preserved Great Central Railway & there are now 10 miles of track from Ruddington to Loughborough Junction (Opp Brush Works)

I agree - the event has only gone on their website in the last few days & having been away only had it confirmed yesterday
