Door lock barrell 4 door turns 180 degrees?
Hello all, got the drivers door lock barrel on my 4 door saloon to work at last but just a quick question on the four door should it turn 180 degrees to lock and stay there and then turn back 180 degrees to unlock? I seem to remember my 2 door lock always returning to centre position if you like and you turned it one way to lock the other to unlock?

It probably depends on the age of the car, probably when they started fitting passenger door locks. My Series MM 2 door key turns 180 deg clockwise to lock then back again to unlock.
My Traveller key turns clockwise to lock and springs back and anti clockwise to unlock and springs back
