What does it matter?
If you are interested in keeping the car 'as original' or are entering concours then it matters a great deal!
I said that Cam.
(...although if you're needing to blend-in two sections or going for concours i can see the point)
Humph. Good grief.

I dont think thats correct as all Minors with the slatted type grill (which started in 55-56 ish) until the end of prodution were painted with Old English White.
Hi Kevin
I seem to have stirred up a hornet's nest here with changing Grille & Wheel colours - I was quoting from our esteemed Club Secretary R Newell Esq. & his "Original Morris Minor" Book.

Personally, like many others I have Old English White wheels on a late car as I think they look better. To further confuse my car is 1968 & colour is Peat & so should have a white coachline but it has a black one which I like so I will keep it this way .

Hi Rog
I think I need to keep my eyes open more its just that I dont remember seeing many cars without white grills and I am with you on the white wheel colour looking better.
Cheers
