and what I noticed was that two of my four cats spend time snoozing in my Minor traveller quite happily on the bare floor. But they never came anywhere near to the Porsche. Aint' that weird. Maybe they like the smell of the Por 15 on the floor. I don't know, they still don't know the difference between a whitworth and a metric spanner but it's early days. However the question I wish to pose is are Moggy owners predominately cat or dog owners. Let us know. I've got four, all they do is eat, sleep, fill up the dirt box, and sleep some more and generally totally ignore me but hey it's someone to talk to other than the wife. This is they . . .[frame]

Moggies what moggies
I was working away in the garage when I noticed something to which previously I had not given much thought. There are two cars in my garage, both undergoing restoration although the Morris variety is getting all the attention as I shall be using this as transport in the near future, whilst the Porsche variety will be just a Sunday driver to classic events and such like. But the point I wish to make is in regard to the feline species which is of course the colloquial conotation of the Morris name - Moggy

I have two cats and also own a Porsche as well as Minors!
Surprised that the Siamese ignores you, they are usually very friendly cats.

If a cat came anywhere near my Morris it would be a bag and a very heavy stone, as the river runs very close by.

I used to have a cat but upgraded - now a dog man. Bitch to be precise as they dont have the psychological need to wee on everything.
I like cats but the dog makes a better companion imho. She's a lab though so easy to train and obedient. Responds to hand gestures and commands and is never not wagging her tail furiously.
I never understand folk without animals - I guess when you've always had cats and dogs it shard to imagine life without - the house seems too big and empty without mine padding about the place.

The cat uses our traveller to shelter under, she's quite possessive of the cars! The bantams are less bothered.

Those local cats sound vicious, I'm sure someone would rescue Alan though!

I'm a dog person, but I like cats too (I like all creatures, human, mammal, or otherwise, as a rule). But I've got to say, those dogs are adorable!
