swopping door lock barrell
Hello all, just a couple of questions, my 4 door saloons drivers door lock barrell simply will not budge, i have a 2 door drivers handle with a lock barrell and key that works fine. Are they interchangeable and how bigger job is it to change it over. cheers

Re: swopping door lock barrell
ESM sell two different key barrels, the 4 door / van (key106) and the two door / convertible / traveller (key105) so it would appear that they are not interchangeable.
however the barrels are straight forward to remove so it might be worth giving it a soak over night in a cleaning solution followed by a good oiling to see if that frees it up.
it is straight forward to remove the barrel, provided you remember to remove the pin which holds it in the door handle! just keep the key in the barrel when you try to remove it..
