MOT centres for Morris minors in Witney, Oxon area

I am urgently looking for an MOT test centre for my morris minor traveller in the witney area, if anyone has any recommendations I'd love to hear from you.

Hello Liz, welcome to the Board. You don't need to post the same subject in different forums as most people browse all of them. The good news is that a Minor can be MOTd at any test station, no special requirement. Having said that, some testers are definitely more sympathetic than others. The important thing is to get a certificate that reflects that the car is truly road worthy - your safety, and that of others, depends on the car being in good condition. That said, a vehicle can legitimately pass the test on a Monday, and still fail on the following Tuesday!

Have you considered joining your local branch? Loads of advice available from people who know your area - hopefully one of them will be along shortly. In the meantime, enjoy the car and the forum.

Look for places and people who have been around as long as the car.
Avoid flashy high street dealers, look under railway arches and the like.
The right place will be a complete asset so worth taking some time about it.

Olivers in Long Hanborough are a long established family garage, 5 miles north of Witney on the A4095. I've taken my old MG there for a number of years and they are very genuine.
