Beaulieu autojumble.

Post by RobThomas »

Anyone else go?
Got a lowlight hinged petrol fillercap and neck for a £5 and a USHM3 water pipe (pump to bottom rad, metal) for £3. Not a lot else there but someone selling Lowlight split bumpers for £400 per car set.

Yes, I was there from Friday onwards - wouldn't miss it for the world!
Didn't pick up anything myself for the MM but did you see the Alta head for sale. Apparently it was complete but not in particularly good condition and the price!!! £2500!!!! :o

£2500????????????????????
Totally nuts!

I saw some new conrods, a pair of USHM3 heads, steering wheels, gearknobs and other little bits but not much else of interest.

Bought a replacement MM wiper motor and pair of MM bootlid hinges off Bryan plus a few other bits and pieces. Had a look at the Alta engine, not quite so expensive if you cost in the engine rebuild but still a lot of money.
According to the forecast it was expected to pxxx down all of Sunday, turned out to be quite a nice day
