Following a few questions in my zetec resto thread, I thought I would post up a few pics of the seats and the bases I made. The leather seats are out of an alfa romeo 156, and are mounted using the original alfa mounting holes. The back seat had the foam cut and some additional added, with a new back hardboard made that screws the back of the seat as usual, and folds as per standard minor seats. Although the fronts don't have a quick release tip forward, the back angle adjustment goes far enough forward to allow access to the back, and the seats slide easily on the runners. The drivers seat is even hight adjustable :p Oh and the front seats have an armrest
The fronts attach to the floor at the back with two angled box section turrets, seam welded to thick steel plates, bolted through the floor, with a sandwich plate on the other side. The inside one has a hole drilled through with a long bolt and washer, while the other side has a captive nut welded inside the box section. The fronts are mounted on rubber anti-vibration mounts, one bolted through the original mounting hole, mostly just for easy of test fitting.
