Hi Guys n Gals
I am moving to Brisbane and have seen this car
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160643683738? ... 500wt_1156
The Guy wants about £1000
my questions are are the inner wing / a pillars the same as on a morris 1000
and whats the difference between the braking system compared to a morris 1000 and are parts easily available - I have asked the guy if he is wanting a quick sale if not would he hold on to it till nov/dec for me.
i was thinking if he agrees to get the parts here and ship them out as parts are expensive out there.
Many thanks
Andy
Oh yeah and seeing as it has stood 33 years but is running any advice on engine work - i would de a service

Re: low light in aus
contact Oliver-Morrisminor in Brisbane, he will be able to assist.
I have seen the posting for the car and made some comments but I can't find them. I doubt if it is 1948 as very few were exported in 48

Well spotted that man.
Windscreen rubber is later type, later tail lights. Estimate late 49 - early 50.
I think he said something about surface rust! I would not care to use the front jacking points.
The problem with taking parts over is that until you look at it and hit it with a big hammer you do not know what is good and what is rotten. Golden Rule, It is worse on the inside than it looks on the outside.
